Some of us can’t afford the extra expense of satellite radio. I can’t even begin to tell you the withdrawal I experienced when I no longer had Howard Stern to make my dreadful morning commute bearable. So I am forced to suffer through morning radio each and every work day. Most  stations are littered with not very amusing banter from the hosts ( who are no Howard & Robin) and when you do find a station that actually plays music, they continually play the same songs over and over and over…

I too was dissapointed with the Idol results last night. I think that America is basically Homophobic and is not ready for a Guyliner. What a shame. Adam will go on to do amazing things.

What kind of music is littering the airwaves today.  Its either Hip Hop, with all the violence ,sex ,and drugs or some mindless crap ie.” Thats not my name”.  You have to admit the music from the 50′s to the 80′s had normal lyrics and classic beats..Can you imagine a Tme Life commercial 10 years hence. It might go something like this “Who can forget these favorite love songs of  2000″  Move Bitch get out the way” or can you remember sitting on the beach with your main ho, singing in her ear this all time classic “Face down ass up”  The songs of the last 10 years, although somewhat entertaining have little or no staying power.  I guess this just reflects our society in general, here today,gone tomorrow. God help us !

Don’t you hate it when your favorite song is on the radio and you turn up the volume to listen to it, then SOMEONE STARTS TALKING?!?! Like the other day I was in the car and I heard Mr. Brightside (one of my all time favorites) come on the radio, so I turn up the volume and then my aunt just started talking to me about some nonsense!!!! I get so mad!! Music is precious to me and I do not think it was meant to be talked over! Now this really gets me pissed, when its all silent and you’re looking for a good radio station and they don’t say anything, then you find a really good song and then THEY START TALKING!!! It’s like they had this whole evil scheme to ruin your car ride and they are just shoving it down your throat!!!! ANYONE ELSE AGREE THAT THIS HAS TO STOP?!?!?!??!

Did anyone see David Archuleta sing on American Idol this week?    I thought he was awful,  I don’t know how he made it as far as he did.  Maybe they should have allowed his father to coach him from backstage? This season rocks,  Adam, Chris, Matt, Danny & Alison are all amazing.  I think it is going to be between Adam and Alison and Adam will probably win. But when you really think about it Adam has been performing on stage for years while Alison is a 16 year old with raw talent.  She really deserves to win.  Also, what does everyone think about Susan Boyle? love to hear your thoughts.

Well,  it’s finally up!! I came up with the idea for  “ToVent”  a year ago,  and I purchased the domain name on April 29, 2008. I wanted to create a central site where people could complain.  One  year later,  look where we are!  ToVent.com was designed  to be the main complaint blog where people can complain ,  get  their frustrations out,  and be heard.  And it gets even better…other’s  can comment,  comiserate, and give advice.

P.S.   Since prom is about 2 weeks away, I thought I would vent…

Seriously, I’m trying to find a prom date because prom is about two weeks away. It’s probably the hardest thing to do if you don’t have a girlfriend. I’m trying to ask this girl and then her so called “friend, bf, who knows, weirdo”, is like leave her alone. I’m like man if she doesn’t want to announce that you’re her boyfriend, I guess she really doesn’t like you. Well, I’m going to have to look for a new one, I guess ill do what I did last year and get a prom date 6 days before prom. Well, I guess we’ll see what happens. A great quote to sum this up “It is wise to take your time than to pursue something that is half-cooked. Sometimes, waiting can mean the smartest decision you will ever make.” If this is true, I guess a better girl is waiting out there for me.
