When you go to an island and its cold..

I hate it when i make plans with a bunch of people to go to the beach this weekend and then when the weekend comes its in no way a beach day. ahhh!

i can’t stand it when you go to the beach and there is NEVER and parking available! i arrived at the beach today and was circling the roads for a parking spot for 15 mins! i had people waiting to meet me, and they left assuming i wasn’t coming! the worst part is, during the course of that time, i though i found a couple spots BUT the people who were getting in their cars or walking to their car were just going to get a towel, or beach chair, etc. hey buddy? how about you tell me that before i start following you to your car! be considerate people!

I hate when people tell me I look irish I’m like everything else in the world, but not irish.  I’m mostly Italian and I am proud of that.  I swear everyday some on asks me “what part does you Irish heritage come from?.” how about ” The boot shaped land mass that is actually connected to the continent of Europe hmmm…” Or the best is when it’s around March people ask me what I’m planning to do on St. Patty’s day.  How about ” Not wearing green, not watching the leprachauns walk through NYC, Not eating cornbeef, and not drinking beer, yeah what great plans for a party!!! ” Okay so all you Irish or non-Irish who think I’m irish why don’t you go tell some other nationality that they look like something else. Go tell the french they look American that will get some people venting.

Well,  it’s finally up!! I came up with the idea for  “ToVent”  a year ago,  and I purchased the domain name on April 29, 2008. I wanted to create a central site where people could complain.  One  year later,  look where we are!  ToVent.com was designed  to be the main complaint blog where people can complain ,  get  their frustrations out,  and be heard.  And it gets even better…other’s  can comment,  comiserate, and give advice.

Let’s face it, we all get mad or have something to get off our chest, and all we want is for someone to listen.  Feel free to rate the posts, vote for your favorite.  Each week, the writer of the vent  with the highest rating will receive a ToVent.com t-shirt.

P.S.   Since prom is about 2 weeks away, I thought I would vent…

Seriously, I’m trying to find a prom date because prom is about two weeks away. It’s probably the hardest thing to do if you don’t have a girlfriend. I’m trying to ask this girl and then her so called “friend, bf, who knows, weirdo”, is like leave her alone. I’m like man if she doesn’t want to announce that you’re her boyfriend, I guess she really doesn’t like you. Well, I’m going to have to look for a new one, I guess ill do what I did last year and get a prom date 6 days before prom. Well, I guess we’ll see what happens. A great quote to sum this up “It is wise to take your time than to pursue something that is half-cooked. Sometimes, waiting can mean the smartest decision you will ever make.” If this is true, I guess a better girl is waiting out there for me.
