I recently cleaned out my attic and garage and  put everything out on the curb for next day garbage pick-up.  I went for my morning run and when I returned home, I found my next door neighbor rummaging through my garbage.  It felt a little weird watching my neighbor rifle through my personal belongings, even though I put them out with the trash. Maybe it’s me but I was creeped out by the whole thing and want to file it under ‘things you shouldn’t do’.

Neighbors that have huge outdoor party’s every weekend.  I work hard all week and I want to sit and relax peacefully in my own back yard and not have to listen to your drunken guests and awful music. Take a break already, go to someone else’s house for a change.

You know what I hate? I hate neighbors who cut their lawn at the crack of dawn on the weekend. I’ll be working late tonight and the sob who lives behind me will be ridding his mower tomorrow at 7:00am.

My crazy neighbor  constantly races up and down our street.  He cuts me off  when I am driving the speed limit , and once, while  I  was waiting to make a left out of my street, he went up on the neighbors curb to get around me. He also backs out of his driveway with out even looking. This fool is going to kill someone, hopefully himself!

My hardworking daughter, a single mother of three, received her cable bill and found it to be outrageous.  Most of the charges were for programs that neither she nor her children subscribed to.  She called the cable company to please look into this, and what did they do, disconnect her entire service.

In the end, after a slight screaming match with the  cable company, it turns out that one of her neighbors hooked up to her cable service illegally.  The lesson learned is don’t be fooled by those smiley faced people who come to the U.S. and precede to scam innocent people who they feel have it so much better than they do.

I reside in a town home development. Each unit has an assigned numbered spot in front of their unit and there are an equal amount of unnumbered spots for guests or if the unit owner has a second car. Well recently my neighbors who already have two cars purchased a new car for their son who is graduating high school. I noticed the car and even said congratulations. Well little did I know that my very neighbors who I gave well wishes to would start playing a game of “musical spots”. It appears that every time I move my car from the nearest unnumbered spot they are on guard and out the door moving their car into that very spot. (often before I get to the stop sign on the corner) I’ve had a nice relationship with these folks over the years so I really don’t want to make waves but this little game is annoying the life out of me. (especially when I return from the store  and find myself having to park clear across the complex toting my grocery bags.) Why do they have to play games?What happened to the simple art of being courteous ? Wonder how they’d respond if they came across the nearest unnumbered spot and there was my body outlined in sidewalk chalk and a piece of caution taped laid across it? Hmmm…………Just a thought.

You know what I hate?   People who live in a nice neighborhood and  don’t maintain their home or cut their lawn.  You know who you are. You are making our street look like a slum.  Clean up  your act or MOVE!
