I feel the need to vent about the senseless killing of abortion doctor, George Tiller. How sick is it that these crazed right to lifer’s gunned him down, in his place of worship, and in front of his loving family, because they were opposed to his beliefs.  Right or wrong he helped women who had no other alternative, and these wacko’s in Wichita feel it’s ok to play the eye for an eye game? It’s sick!

Did anyone read in today’s paper about the Obama’s “Date  Night.”  They took a helicopter to the  Air Force base to the waiting Air Force One, flew to NYC,  to a waiting limo to Broadway to see a play, back into the waiting limo  and out to dinner, then back in the limo, back to Air Force One, and back to the waiting helicopter and back to the White house.   PHEW… and factor in all the staff and extra security, huh??? And all during a recession! Does anyone smell arrogance?

I have been viviting this site since inception and I have yet to see anyone complain about their taxes.  Higher taxes…less services…enough said…

You know what ticks me off – its’ those so-called Americans who are so-gong-ho about Israel.  I for one never intend to visit a country that is so indifferent about the rights of other people.  It’s also despicable to see all those obnoxious right-wing settlers taking the homes belonging to the Palestinian people (they have the mentality of  ”I’m a survivor and I deserve it all)” .  I also don’t trust Netanyahu when he says he’s for a two-state solution.  ”Someone should shout loud and clear to Israel that “Freeze means “Freeze”.

Yo, steroid kings and beauty queens, I already told you the Gym is for working out, it is now a pick-up joint!  If you want to hook-up go to Avenue.

I wait tabels at a pretty busy oceanfront restaurant and although there is a supposed recession going on, you wouldn’t know it  by the long lines and number of table turn overs. So business is brisk and everyone is enjoying going out to dinner, so everything’s cool right? Wrong!!! I work my ass off all night waiting on some pretty picky and nasty people that have no problem ordreing everything on the menu, but when it comes time to leave the tip, they leave 10%??? Are you f****n kidding me??? Cut back somewhere else, don’t screw the poor working slob who is trying to pay for his own education!!!

One of my “friends” is so cheap when it comes to splitting the bill when going out to eat together.  Every time we go out to dinner, I end up getting ripped off by 5 or 10 bucks.  It may not seem like a lot- but its the fact that my long time friend is doing this that is the most irritiating.  Tonight for example, I paid 12 dollars over what I was supposed to.  She did not chip in for the coffee that she drank or the dessert that we split.  Nor did she give adequate tip for the amount that her food cost.   I would say something but 1) I don’t feel like causing problems and 2) If I complain about the extra few dollars, it makes ME look like the cheap one!  I always tell myself it’s the last time I’ll go out to eat with her, but I keep getting sucked into it.  I’m very accepting of all cultures, but now I understand where the “cheap Jew” stereotype comes from.

So today I went to go and get my oil changed at a local body shop in town. The manager there was the one working on my car and the service was excellent. My oil was changed in only ten minutes, and the manager even checked my engine coolant and saw that it needed to be refilled. He also had some of his other employees vacuum my car for no charge. Great service all around. What I don’t understand is that when I ask him to do me a simple favor, and see if he can update my vehicle’s computer, he says the car make didn’t provide him with the tool to do so. I’m understanding, so I slip the guy a $10 for doing such a great job on my car. Suddenly, as I’m pulling out he stops me and says, “Let me see if I can mess with it and see if i can update it real quick if you have two minutes.” “Sure.” I responded. And when he said it would only take two minutes, thats how long it took. It was perfect. I just don’t understand why after doing all he did for my car, he couldn’t just finish the job he did unless I paid him. I guess everyone has there limits, and everyone has a price.

Several of my friends and I went to a benefit at a comedy club in New Brunswick, NJ.  We grabbed a table and a bunch of extra chairs so we could all sit together.  One of my friends showed up late and we didn’t have a seat for him. I looked over at a table of three older women in front of me and I noticed that they had one extra chair. I went over and asked them if that seat was taken and they said “yes.” I looked down at the seat and I saw that one of the women had her pocketbook on the chair.  For the entire night, while watching three different comedians , my friend stood in the back of the club and this woman’s pocketbook sat on an empty chair.  What’s wrong with people????

You know what i hate when you knock over your managers drink, and he forces you to buy a new one. Like Seriously!!!?? I accidentley knocked over your drink, and I have to buy you a new one?? He deserves to be fired. Why are managers soo mean?? They wonder why their workers hate them. Maybe if they would be nice, their business would be better.

i can’t stand it when teachers give work when the year is coming to a close. i mean im already studying for finals, and now i have 3 papers to write and 5 additional tests to study for! and then people wonder why exams aren’t the best. its so annoying but i guess its something we all have to deal with!

Why do people have to be so critical of each other? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it is not up to others to critize their beliefs. If someone asks for your opinion  fine,  if not,  keep your thoughts and your negativity to yourself.

Every time I place a cold cut order at the Deli counter I wind up with at least  1/8-1/4 lb pound more than I ordered. It’s not only expensive and not in my budget, especially if I am ordering several items, but the extra usually doesn’t get eaten and I wind up paying for something that gets thrown out. This is one case in which too much..is too much.

I just returned from spin class at the gym and I had to vent. Why do women load on the perfume before coming to class.? If you practice proper hygiene, additional perfume is unnecessary when going to the gym.  A shower and some deodorant is sufficient. When people start sweating in an overcrowded under-ventilated room, and then you start to smell really heavy old lady perfume, you start to feel like you could be sick.  Be courteous to others and lay off the heavy perfume while at the gym!

Some of us can’t afford the extra expense of satellite radio. I can’t even begin to tell you the withdrawal I experienced when I no longer had Howard Stern to make my dreadful morning commute bearable. So I am forced to suffer through morning radio each and every work day. Most  stations are littered with not very amusing banter from the hosts ( who are no Howard & Robin) and when you do find a station that actually plays music, they continually play the same songs over and over and over…

I received  some great coupons and special offers from Victoria’s Secret in last weeks mail.  On the first day of the sale I ran to the store as soon as the mall opened. When I went to inquire about these UNBELIEVEABLE offers I was told that they were sold out. I said to the saleswoman, “The sale begins today, and I am the first one at the store, how could the sale merchandise all be gone already? ” and she replied, “It’s while supplies last” , huh? I don’t get or should I say I didn’t get it!

So I went into the Gap last week to apply for a job- no big deal.  But I found out I need to do it online, which is still fine.  When I get home I go online, but I have to search for the store, which I can’t find.  Great.  I head back the next day to the baby/kids Gap next door, which was the one that was hiring.  I tell the manager my problem and I also find out that I have to be 18 to get a job there.  I won’t turn 18 until the end of June.

Do you know that that means?  It means I won’t be able to apply there until AFTER every college kid comes home from college and the job will be taken anyway.  The kicker is that I can’t get a job there right now even though I have references, experience, and a high school diploma.  You know who has a better shot at a job there?  An 18-year-old, bimbo/slut, with no references nor experience, who could have possibly dropped out of high school.  I’m lower than that thanks to that magical day in June when I’m legally 18 years of age.

This is the dumbest law anyway.  What makes 18 so great?  We all mature at different rates.  Some 15-year-olds could EASILY be more mature than other 19-year-olds!  This law is just bullspit!

I reside in a town home development. Each unit has an assigned numbered spot in front of their unit and there are an equal amount of unnumbered spots for guests or if the unit owner has a second car. Well recently my neighbors who already have two cars purchased a new car for their son who is graduating high school. I noticed the car and even said congratulations. Well little did I know that my very neighbors who I gave well wishes to would start playing a game of “musical spots”. It appears that every time I move my car from the nearest unnumbered spot they are on guard and out the door moving their car into that very spot. (often before I get to the stop sign on the corner) I’ve had a nice relationship with these folks over the years so I really don’t want to make waves but this little game is annoying the life out of me. (especially when I return from the store  and find myself having to park clear across the complex toting my grocery bags.) Why do they have to play games?What happened to the simple art of being courteous ? Wonder how they’d respond if they came across the nearest unnumbered spot and there was my body outlined in sidewalk chalk and a piece of caution taped laid across it? Hmmm…………Just a thought.

After a few months of cell phone bills totalling $300.00 a month I decided enough was enough and I would contact Verizon and change my plan. I spoke with a customer rep. for over 45 minutes and she told me of a “great new plan” which would help me save over $70.00 per month.  (The rep. even took the time to send me a link to sign up for the “great new plan”. ) I went to the link ,attempted to sign on and suddenly the words “ this plan is not available in your area appeared”. Talk about a waste of time not to mention money as my problem was never fixed. Note to self call AT &T tomorrow morning.

You know what I hate?  When a store has a huge sale on current merchandise, and the employees buy up all the great stuff at huge discounts, and never leave any of the good merchandise for the customers.

You know what I can’t stand? I can’t stand people who brag about how much weight they put-up. No one cares! Okay, you’re strong. Cool. We can all see that, there’s no need to go on telling people how much you lift, and prove to everyone you’re strong. The worst are people who lie about how much weight they put up to make themselves appear better? Or so they think. You go to the gym to get stronger, stay in shape, and look better. There’s no problem with any of that. But when you have to brag about going to the gym, and boast about lifting “big” weights, you’re really just making an idiot out of yourself because no one cares. This rant was to help readers who pertain to this post, now its over.

I just finished shopping at Wegmans, on this very windy day and I am astonished at the number of people that won’t return their shopping carts to the designated areas. What is so difficult about it? You are able to walk around the store and shop for 45min. but you can walk another fifty feet to return your cart, especially on a windy day when the carts blow into other peoples cars? I just don’t get it.

You know what I hate? People who suffer from Tanorexia. First of all they think they look great  and they don’t.  Worse than that is when they stand next to you and  because they are so very dark, they make you look all pale and sickly.

I CANT STAND ALLERGIES!! why does pollen have to be on every single dam tree?? i cant take sneezing anymore.. for my job i waitor and i was carrying drinks out to my customers when all of a sudden i sneeze. i look up and hear my customers say.. “you better go get new drinks for us you just sneezed all over them!” it wouldnt have happened prob if the restaurant wasn’t outside but who knows. Overall, i cant take them, i cant  wait for another 2 weeks when their gone. i hope it comes faster!
